About Us
Welcome to Mid Auchengowan.
We bought this lovely farm in 2019 for our growing family, and we are looking forward to sharing this corner of the beautiful Scottish countryside with all of you.
We have refurbished and converted the existing outbuildings to create extra accommodation for our guests. The Cottage and Studio opened in Summer of 2019. Two years later we created the Dome, a unique experience that combines all the comforts with tranquillity and breathtaking views.
As we are living in the main farmhouse, we are just a knock-on-the-door away if you need help or advice. We'll do our best to make your stay at Mid Auchengowan as blissfully peaceful and memorable as possible. Come see us!

Accommodation at Mid Auchengowan
Extensively refurbished in 2019, our three units offer stylist but homely accommodation and can comfortably sleep up to 13 people when booked together. Free parking and wifi, luxury bedding and towels, as well as toiletries and all essentials are included in your booking. Come stay with us for a relaxing and peaceful stay a stone's throw away from Glasgow Airport and close to many landmarks and destinations.
The Dome
Ideal for small group of friends or a family
Opened in July 2021, our luxury glamping dome sleeps 4 people in two king-size beds. It is equipped with cooking facilities, a wood-burning stove, heating, lounge area, smart TV and Wifi and a lovely garden with BBQ area.
The views from the dome are spectacular!
The Cottage
Ideal for families and group of friends
Renovated in July 2019, the Cottage is the ideal space for a peaceful holiday with your family or friends.

With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a huge open plan area (70 sqm), the Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people (two king-size beds, two singles plus baby cot).

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor, while on the first floor you will find the open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for everyone to sit together, and a lounge area with wood burner and a Juliet balcony to enjoy the stunning views over the Loch.

The Studio
Ideal for a couple or young family
Self-contained studio flat with spacious ensuite, kitchenette with fridge, combi oven (microwave + traditional oven), kettle and toaster; table and chairs for your meals, and a good sofa-bed to chill.

What to do while staying with us
PEACEFUL YET CONVENIENT
We are located just off the A737, a stone's throw away from Glasgow Airport and within 45 min from some fantastic destinations like Loch Lomond, Glasgow City Centre, the beaches in Troon and Largs and Kelburn Castle. You can enjoy water sports (sailing, canoeing, SUP) at Castle Semple, open-water swimming at Barcraigs Reservoir and some stunning walks in the countryside from our doorstep. What's there not to like?
